Why we're here

Our mission

LIMINAL FM exists to slow music discovery down. Instead of an endless feed, you get a small set of new songs each Friday. You keep one, trade it with a friend, and keep the receipt. One night a week, a song finds you, and you get to be there first.

What we believe

• Less, chosen well. A finite set respects your time and your attention. A thin week gives a smaller set, never older filler.
• Artists come first. We never host or stream music ourselves. Every listen happens on Spotify, where artists are credited and paid, and we never alter or tint anyone's artwork.
• Sharing over scrolling. The best recommendations come from people, so trading is built into the ritual.
• Privacy by default. We collect as little as we can, never sell your data, and let you delete everything in one tap. Read the privacy policy.
• Calm by design. No streaks, no infinite scroll, no urgency beyond the real deadline.

Everyone belongs here

Music belongs to everyone. LIMINAL FM welcomes listeners of every race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, body, religion, class and background. We want our editorial picks to reflect that too: independent and emerging artists, women and gender-diverse artists, queer artists, artists of color, and scenes from all over the world, not only the charts.

We stand with Palestine

We believe in freedom, dignity and safety for the Palestinian people, and in their right to live free from occupation and violence. Music has always carried stories that power tries to silence, and we’ll keep making room for Palestinian artists in our picks. For that reason, LIMINAL FM is not offered in Israel.
